Privacy Policy for Bottled Magic
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Welcome to Bottled Magic. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit theartsylady.com, purchase Bottled Magic, or contact us.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, correspondence, and other information you voluntarily share when purchasing a course or contacting us.
- Purchase information: product purchased, payment status, transaction identifier, amount and currency. Whop and its payment providers collect and process payment credentials. Our website’s tracking integration does not receive or send your full card number or security code.
- Usage information: pages viewed, course views, checkout starts, browser and device information, IP addresses, referral information, advertising-click identifiers and website interactions.
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers used for website operation, analytics, advertising measurement and remembering privacy preferences. See the cookies and tracking section below.
2. How we use your information
- Process purchases, send course-access information separately by email, answer questions and provide customer support.
- Understand how visitors use our website and improve our content, checkout experience and services.
- Measure advertising performance and connect website activity with confirmed purchases.
- Communicate about your purchase and course. If you receive promotional emails from us, you may unsubscribe using the email’s instructions or by contacting us. Essential purchase or service messages are separate from promotional emails.
- Detect abuse and fraud, secure our services, and meet applicable legal obligations.
3. Sharing your information
We share information with service providers involved in payments, hosting, email communications, website analytics and advertising measurement. Information is handled under the applicable provider’s terms and privacy practices. Our current website integrations include:
- Whop: checkout, payment records and Whop website analytics. See Whop’s Privacy Policy.
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API: page views, course views, checkout starts, browser and click identifiers, and confirmed purchase information. When a payment notification supplies an email address, our integration hashes it before sending it to Meta. Hashing does not make an identifier anonymous. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics: website activity and browser information used to understand traffic and the purchase funnel. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our website tag. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.
- Microsoft Clarity: website interaction analytics, including heatmaps and session-replay features, to understand how visitors use our pages. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
- Hosting and security providers: infrastructure that serves the website and helps protect it, including Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information where required by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising measurement, security and privacy preferences. These include Meta browser and advertising-click identifiers, Google Analytics identifiers, Whop analytics and Microsoft Clarity technologies.
Our custom Meta, Google Analytics and Whop website tags run by default unless a saved site opt-out or Global Privacy Control prevents them. Default-on measurement is not explicit consent. Clarity analytics cookies require an explicit choice; advertising storage remains denied. Whop checkout has separate provider-controlled behavior.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, use supported browser privacy controls, or contact us about your preferences. Blocking cookies or scripts may limit some site or checkout features. Withdrawing permission or stopping future collection does not recall information already sent. For information about Clarity’s cookies, see Microsoft’s cookie documentation.
5. Data retention
We retain purchase and correspondence information for the purposes described above and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Retention also depends on the service provider and the type of information.
Visitor attribution, including identifiers, IP address and browser information, is retained for up to 30 days. Verified browser purchase receipts last up to 24 hours. Minimal authenticated payment recovery records, including a hashed email where supplied, are retained for up to 30 days. Scheduled cleanup removes expired visitor and recovery records. Separate minimal payment-delivery records prevent duplicate reporting and contain no email or card details. Browser opt-out preferences last up to one year.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to an applicable privacy regulator.
To make a request, email info@crafty-diy.com. We may need information to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security or transaction-record purposes.
8. Third-party links
Our website links to services operated by others. This policy describes Bottled Magic’s practices, not every practice of those services. Please review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices or requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
